The Pro-future coaching module has been devised by Technical Director John Hughes over many years of coaching experience to enhance the skills of youth players.
John’s football journey started as Manchester school boys captain and from their into the England school boys squad. His ability as a player took him to such clubs as, Manchester United, Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion, Bury FC, and Accrington Stanley.
At the end of his playing career, John took up management positions at such clubs as Great Harwood Town and Chorley FC in which he played integral part in developing such players as Matt Derbyshire (Blackburn Rovers) Brett Omerod (Preston North End) and Andrew Proctor (Accrington Stanley).
“Almost every young child has the dream of becoming a professional footballer, the fact is only a few will be lucky enough to realise their dreams. To become a professional takes many years of hard work and dedication from your child and from you as a parent/guardian, whether it be just getting kits prepared or commuting to and from sport events, you will play a big part in their development.
However, this encouragement and support can sometimes be over emphasised by the financial pressures and time constraints of today’s modern world, unwittingly these pressures can be passed on to your child, and through their desire not to disappoint, can have an adverse effect on their progression.
These circumstances deflect the principal objectives of youth sports, and our unique training methods have been designed over years of coaching experience to make session plans fun and build your child’s confidence.
At Pro-Future we understand that parents/guardians involvement in their child’s sport is an integral part of the relationship with their child, but to maximise your child’s performance we recommend full autonomy be give to the coach.
It is our goal to provide children access to Elite Coaches, their are many coaching originations to choose from but we must remember: The Quality Of The Coach Determines The Quality Of The Course.”
